Meet Stephanie
Stephanie Somodi Designs was created in 2002 as a home-based business, by owner and graphic designer, Stephanie Somodi. While designing her brother’s wedding invitation, she realized she not only enjoyed meticulously designing invitations, but had a passion for papers and pretty details. Her family and friends were so taken aback by her designs, that they encouraged her to start her own business. So she did! Eighteen years later and Stephanie is still combining her passion for paper and design and love for all things wedding, to give couples from New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and across the country the most inviting day!
Stephanie has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree (BFA) and over 28 years of graphic design experience. She grew up in the “Ironbound Section” of Newark, New Jersey and would often travel to New York City to soak in all the fine art galleries of Soho or catch a play on Broadway. Her family are also full of artists – designers, sculptors, painters and architects, and this is reflected in her impeccable designs and instinctual eye for detail.

Each and every piece of stationery is designed with the highest degree of quality, crafted with the most unique style and tailored to perfection.
Since it’s inception Stephanie has been the preferred invitation designer for “Weddings of Distinction” properties and many prestigious wedding venues throughout New Jersey. Stephanie has also been featured in the press, such as New Jersey Bride, The Knot, Grace Ormonde, Style Me Pretty, Bespoke Bride and the Sand Paper.
